Rutile Coated | Mo-Alloyed Austenitic | High Temperature and Creep Resistance
StarBlaze Prime 316H is a rutile-basic coated stainless steel electrode formulated for welding AISI 316H and similar grades requiring elevated tensile and creep strength. With approximately 2–6% ferrite in the deposit and low moisture pick-up coating, it ensures stable arc performance, smooth bead appearance, and minimal slag removal effort. Designed for reliable service in high-temperature environments such as power, refinery, and process piping systems.

A rutile-basic coated stainless steel electrode, E308L-16 is designed for welding austenitic 18/8 Cr-Ni stainless steels. With a low carbon core wire (308LER) and optimized ferrite (~8%), it offers maximum crack resistance, smooth arc characteristics, and superior corrosion resistance. The electrode produces soft fusion with minimal spatter, excellent slag detachability, and aesthetically clean weld beads. Suitable for use at service temperatures from -120°C to +350°C.
