StarBlaze MIG 309 is a solid stainless steel MIG wire with a high-carbon 25Cr/12Ni composition, suitable for welding AISI 309 and dissimilar steels, including carbon steel to stainless steel joints. It is also used for buffer layers and buttering applications in 18Cr/8Ni steels. The wire offers excellent oxidation and corrosion resistance in continuous service temperatures up to 300°C. Precision layer winding ensures smooth feeding and reliable arc performance across all welding positions.

AWS A5.9: ER 318 | EN ISO 14343-A: G 19 12 3 Nb StarBlaze MIG 318 is a niobium-stabilised stainless steel MIG wire designed for welding 316Ti and 316Nb type stainless steels. It deposits a 19Cr/12Ni/2.5Mo weld metal with enhanced resistance to crevice corrosion in oxidising acid environments. With precision layer winding and controlled cast/helix, the wire ensures smooth feeding and excellent "pay-off" during welding. It is ideally suited for critical fabrication applications involving piping, plates, and pressure vessels in corrosive environments. Supplied in both plastic and metallic basket spools.
