StarBlaze MIG 304L
AWS A5.9: ER 304L | EN ISO 14343-A: W 19 9 L
StarBlaze MIG 304L is a low-carbon stainless steel MIG wire designed for welding austenitic stainless steels like AISI 301, 302, 304, and 304L. It offers excellent corrosion resistance, good mechanical strength, and high resistance to intergranular corrosion due to its extra-low carbon content. Controlled ferrite content (3–8%) provides balanced toughness and crack resistance. Precision layer-wound for smooth, consistent feedability, this wire is ideal for applications in the food processing, chemical, and boiler industries.
- Diameters: 0.8 mm, 1.0 mm, 1.2 mm

- AWS A5.9/A5.9M: ER 409Nb StarBlaze TIG 409Nb is a ferritic stainless steel TIG wire designed for welding AISI 409 and 409Ti base metals. The addition of niobium enhances corrosion resistance, increases strength at elevated temperatures, and promotes a stable ferritic microstructure by minimising chromium carbide formation. It is widely used in automotive exhaust systems, particularly for catalytic converters. Best results are achieved with a low heat input technique, and it is not recommended for multi-pass welding.
