StarBlaze MIG 308Si
AWS A5.9: ER 308Si | EN ISO 14343-A: G 19 9
StarBlaze MIG 308Si is a stainless steel MIG wire designed for welding austenitic stainless steels such as AISI 301, 302, 304, and 308. With a 20Cr/9Ni composition and silicon content of 0.65–1.00%, it delivers excellent weldability, arc stability, and bead appearance. Ferrite content is controlled between 5–10% for balanced corrosion resistance and crack resistance. Precision layer winding ensures smooth wire feeding, and the wire is specially processed for clean welds and reliable performance across all welding positions.

AWS A5.9/A5.9M: ER 409Nb StarBlaze TIG 409Nb is a ferritic stainless steel TIG wire designed for welding AISI 409 and 409Ti base metals. The addition of niobium enhances corrosion resistance, increases strength at elevated temperatures, and promotes a stable ferritic microstructure by minimising chromium carbide formation. It is widely used in automotive exhaust systems, particularly for catalytic converters. Best results are achieved with a low heat input technique, and it is not recommended for multi-pass welding. AWS A5.9: ER 308H | EN ISO 14343-A: W 19 9 H StarBlaze MIG 308H is a solid MAG welding wire formulated for joining AISI 304H and other high-temperature austenitic stainless steels. It deposits a Cr-Ni weld metal (19Cr/9Ni) with a higher carbon content to provide increased strength at elevated temperatures. Precision layer-wound for consistent, smooth feeding, this wire is suitable for the fabrication of pipes and pressure vessels in the petrochemical and power industries. Compatible with mixed gas shielding (Ar+O₂ or Ar+CO₂), it supports short, spray, and pulsed arc operations across a wide range of thicknesses.
