Basic-coated stainless electrode with low hydrogen content for welding 304L and other austenitic stainless grades, offering excellent mechanical performance down to –196°C. Meets IGC Practice E and ASME Section II Part C standards. Designed for precise positional welding with smooth slag detachment and low spatter.

Additional Details
- Use case: Welding of 304L and other low carbon austenitic stainless steels in cryogenic and pressure-rated service
- Handling: Redry at 250–300°C for 1 hour before use if exposed to ambient air
- Storage: Maintain in dry oven or vacuum-sealed storage to retain low hydrogen characteristics
- Limitations: Not suitable for stabilised grades (e.g., 321, 347); avoid exposure to damp environments
