Additional Details
- Use case: Buffer-layer welding, cladding, and joining of stainless to carbon steel in critical applications
- Handling: Redry at 300–350°C for 1 hour if exposed to ambient conditions
- Storage: Store in heated holding ovens or sealed packaging to maintain low hydrogen condition
- Limitations: Not recommended for cryogenic service; avoid under severe restraint without proper preheat/interpass control
