Rutile Coated | Austenitic Stainless | High Temperature and Corrosion Resistance
StarBlaze Prime 310 is a rutile-basic coated austenitic stainless steel electrode formulated for welding high-temperature resistant alloys, cast steels of 25Cr–20Ni grade, and dissimilar stainless joints. The weld metal is stable under thermal cycling, offers excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance up to 1200°C, and is ideal for furnace components, steam boilers, turbine housings, and similar applications. It delivers smooth arc performance with easy slag removal and clean bead appearance.

- Keep dry; re-dry if needed at 300–350°C for 1–2 hours (max 4 cycles)
- Avoid prolonged holding in the 600–850°C range to prevent sigma phase formation
- Designed for joints and overlays subject to high thermal loads and oxidation
- Ideal for maintenance and fabrication of high-temp stainless assemblies
