Rutile Coated | Mo-Alloyed Austenitic | Low Carbon for Corrosive and Cryogenic Applications
StarBlaze Prime 316L is a low carbon rutile semi-basic Mo-alloyed stainless steel electrode designed for welding austenitic stainless steels such as AISI 316 and 316L. The weld metal offers excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in chloride-containing environments, and ensures stable arc performance with minimal spatter. Suitable for service conditions from -120°C to +400°C, this electrode is ideal for tanks, pipes, and cladding jobs in the chemical, petrochemical, and food industries.
