A rutile-based heavy-coated iron powder electrode engineered for maximum deposition efficiency in flat and horizontal fillet welding. With an output recovery of ~165%, STARBLAZE 7024S offers smooth bead profiles, soft arc fusion, and minimal slag cleanup—ideal for high-speed welding of tanks, platforms, and other large structural assemblies. Excellent for long weld passes on thick materials where high productivity is critical.

• Ship steels: Quality A and B - Re-drying typically not required; keep dry and sealed
- Charpy impact strength ≥ 60 J @ +20 °C
- Welds exhibit good fusion and sidewall wetting with low reinforcement
- Designed for fabrication shops and site welding of large assemblies
