StarBlaze Prime MONEL is a graphite-basic coated electrode featuring a balanced nickel-copper alloy deposit designed for the cold welding of grey and malleable cast iron. With stable arc characteristics, soft slag, and near colour-matching weld appearance, it’s ideal for cosmetic and functional casting repairs where machinability and crack resistance are essential.

Additional Details
- Clean surface of grease, cast skin, and contaminants before welding
- Maintain low heat input to avoid cracking or distortion
- Bead width ≤ 2× electrode diameter; bead length ≤ 10× diameter
- Peen deposited weld metal immediately after each pass for stress relief
