AWS A5.14: ERNiCrMo-3 | UNS: N06625 | ISO 18274: S Ni 6625 (NiCr22Mo9Nb)
StarBlaze SAW 625 is a high-performance nickel-chromium alloy SAW wire (UNS N06625 / W.Nr. 2.4856) known for outstanding strength, weldability, and corrosion resistance. Engineered for extreme environments, it performs across cryogenic temperatures up to 2000°F (1093°C). Its molybdenum and niobium (columbium) content enhances resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress-related fatigue. Even in welded conditions, it resists intergranular corrosion. StarBlaze SAW 625 is ideal for aerospace, marine, nuclear, and chemical processing applications. The wire is coated with a specialised anti-spatter reagent for clean and stable operation under demanding SAW processes.
