StarBlaze TIG 430
AWS A5.9: ER 430 | EN ISO 14343-A: G 17
StarBlaze TIG 430 is a 16% chromium stainless steel TIG wire designed for welding ferritic stainless steels. The alloy composition is optimised to ensure good corrosion resistance for typical applications while maintaining sufficient ductility in the heat-treated condition. Preheating and post-weld heat treatment are generally recommended to achieve optimal mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. It is ideal for use in the fabrication and repair of components such as exhaust systems, automotive parts, and architectural applications.

AWS A5.9: ER 347 | EN 12072: 19 9 Nb StarBlaze SAW 347 is a niobium-stabilised stainless steel wire designed for Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) of austenitic stainless steels such as AISI 321 and 347. With a 19Cr/9Ni composition, this wire resists intergranular corrosion by minimising chromium carbide precipitation, thanks to niobium content (Nb ≥ 10×C). It is suitable for fabrication work in industries exposed to corrosive environments at service temperatures below 400°C, and is also used in cryogenic applications. A specialised anti-spatter reagent coating ensures smooth feeding and clean welds in high-deposition SAW processes.

AWS A5.9: ER 2209 | EN ISO 14343-A: G 22 9 3 N L StarBlaze MIG 2209 is a precision layer-wound solid MIG welding wire for duplex stainless steels. It deposits a low-carbon, 22Cr/8Ni/3Mo weld metal with nitrogen addition to deliver excellent resistance against pitting and stress corrosion cracking, especially in chloride-rich environments. With 2–3% higher nickel content than base metals, the wire ensures a balanced austenite–ferrite microstructure in the as-welded condition. Ideal for pipe and plate fabrication in aggressive chemical and marine service. Available Packs
