STARHARD UL 981 is a premium hardfacing electrode engineered for protection against extreme abrasion and metal-to-metal wear. Its tough matrix structure, combined with high hardness, makes it ideal for restoring and reinforcing components exposed to heavy wear, impact, and fatigue. The electrode can be applied on carbon steels, manganese steels, and even cast iron with appropriate buffer layers.
