Creep Resistant Steel Welding, Low Hydrogen Performance, High Temperature Service up to 740°C
A basic coated medium alloyed low hydrogen electrode specially designed for welding high-temperature creep resistant steels and similar grades operating at temperatures up to +740°C. StarBlaze PRIME 9015-B23 provides excellent weldability, self-peeling slag, finely rippled weld beads, and radiographic quality weld deposits. The weld metal is alloyed with chromium, tungsten, vanadium, niobium, boron, and molybdenum to deliver superior creep strength and long-term high-temperature performance. It is ideally suited for fabrication and maintenance of reactors, boilers, tanks, and pipelines used in power generation and process industries.
