STARBLAZE PRIME 2595
AWS A5.4: E2595-16 | DIN EN ISO 3581-A: E 25 9 4 N LR 12
Superior Pitting Resistance, Tungsten Alloyed, Maximum Corrosion Protection
A rutile type non-synthetic 25-10-4-N electrode specially designed for welding super duplex stainless steels and similar compositions. StarBlaze PRIME 2595 offers exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion with a PREN value of 52, making it suitable for the most demanding corrosive environments. The addition of tungsten enhances resistance to hot cracking, while the balanced weld metal chemistry delivers excellent weldability, a spatter-free arc, and smooth bead appearance. It is also suitable for welding standard duplex stainless steels as well as joining carbon and low alloy steels to duplex stainless steels. Weld metal exhibits ferrite levels between 45–60 FN and satisfies ASTM G-48 pitting corrosion resistance requirements at 25°C and 30°C.
