Enhanced Moisture Resistance | High Strength | Suitable for Pressure Equipment & Power Plants
A low hydrogen, moisture-resistant basic type electrode designed for welding high tensile, fine-grained structural steels, particularly 16Mo3-grade and Cr-Mo-Ni-Mn alloyed steels. Offers excellent arc stability, all-position weldability, and high crack resistance. Ideal for construction of boilers, pipelines, penstocks, and structural components subjected to elevated temperature and pressure.

- Store in a dry, humidity-controlled environment

Low Carbon. Crack-Resistant. Versatile.
A rutile-basic coated stainless steel electrode, E308L-16 is designed for welding austenitic 18/8 Cr-Ni stainless steels. With a low carbon core wire (308LER) and optimized ferrite (~8%), it offers maximum crack resistance, smooth arc characteristics, and superior corrosion resistance. The electrode produces soft fusion with minimal spatter, excellent slag detachability, and aesthetically clean weld beads. Suitable for use at service temperatures from -120°C to +350°C.
