Superior Moisture Resistance, High Strength Steel Welding, Exceptional Low Temperature Toughness
An extra low hydrogen, basic coated iron powder moisture-resistant electrode specially designed for producing tough and crack-free welded joints in high-strength steels. StarBlaze PRIME 9018-M delivers excellent all-position welding performance, smooth arc characteristics, self-releasing slag, finely rippled weld beads, and X-ray quality weld deposits. The weld metal exhibits excellent notch toughness at -51°C and is particularly suitable for joining high-strength low alloy (HSLA) and micro-alloyed steels in critical structural applications.
