STARGOLD 60 CR – Chromium-Rich Hardfacing Electrode for Extreme Abrasion
STARGOLD 60 CR is a specially formulated MMA electrode designed for hardfacing applications where resistance to severe abrasion is critical. Its weld metal is rich in chromium carbides, making it ideal for parts exposed to high wear with minimal impact — such as earthmoving tools, crusher components, and mining equipment.
This electrode creates a hard, wear-resistant deposit with good bonding and minimal dilution, ensuring extended service life even under the harshest working conditions.

- Store in original, sealed packaging to avoid moisture absorption
- Rebake electrodes if exposed to humidity (refer to TDS for conditions)
- Not recommended for impact-heavy wear conditions
