Extra Low Hydrogen, Ultra High Strength, Superior Crack Resistance
A basic coated extra low hydrogen electrode specially designed for welding ultra-high-strength steels with yield strengths exceeding 950 N/mm². StarBlaze PRIME 14018M delivers a stable and concentrated arc, low spatter levels, very easy slag removal, and finely rippled weld beads. Its Ni-Cr-Mn-Mo alloyed weld deposit provides exceptional crack resistance, radiographic quality welds, excellent mechanical properties, and outstanding impact toughness at low temperatures, making it ideal for critical fabrication involving fine-grained high-strength steels.
