Rutile-Basic Coated | Ferritic-Austenitic | High Strength and Dissimilar Metal Welding
StarBlaze Prime 312 is a high-alloyed, rutile-basic coated stainless steel electrode with approx. 40% ferrite content, designed for dissimilar joint welding, repair work, and high-strength steel applications. The ferritic-austenitic weld metal is corrosion resistant, non-magnetic, and provides superior mechanical strength. Suitable for welding tool steels, die and spring steels, tempered alloys, cast steels, and as a buffer layer prior to hardfacing overlays.
