Superior Pitting Resistance, Super Duplex Performance, Exceptional Corrosion Resistance
A rutile-basic 25-10-4-N type non-synthetic electrode specially designed for welding 2507 super duplex stainless steels and similar compositions. StarBlaze PRIME 2594 offers exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion with a PREN value greater than 40, making it ideal for highly corrosive service environments. The low carbon weld deposit ensures excellent weldability, a spatter-free arc, smooth bead appearance, and a balanced super duplex weld structure with ferrite content in the range of 40–70 FN. Supplied in vacuum-packed packaging for optimum moisture protection and consistent welding performance.
