Rutile Coated | Nb-Stabilized Austenitic | General Purpose for Elevated Temperature Welding
StarBlaze Prime 318 is a rutile-basic MMA electrode developed for welding stabilized austenitic Cr-Ni-Mo stainless steels and cast steels containing niobium or titanium. It provides a stable arc, ripple-free bead, and easy slag removal, making it suitable for both structural and pressure applications operating up to +400°C. Its balanced chemistry with Nb addition ensures excellent corrosion resistance and prevents carbide precipitation in high-temperature zones.
