High Ferrite Deposit, Superior Crack Resistance, Stabilized Stainless Steel Welding
A rutile-basic coated austenitic stabilized stainless steel electrode with approximately 10–12% ferrite and a low moisture absorption coating (LMA type). StarBlaze PRIME 347 HF provides enhanced resistance to hot cracking while delivering soft fusion characteristics, spatter-free welding, very easy slag removal, exceptional weld bead appearance, and easy restriking. Designed for welding stabilized and unstabilized austenitic Cr-Ni stainless steels operating at temperatures up to 400°C, it is also suitable for corrosion-resistant chromium steels and similar alloy cladding applications. Supplied in vacuum-packed packaging for optimum moisture protection and consistent welding performance.
