Excellent Corrosion Resistance, Superior Weldability, Duplex Stainless Steel Welding
A rutile-basic coated 22-9-3-N type non-synthetic electrode specially designed for welding corrosion-resistant duplex stainless steels. StarBlaze PRIME 2209 offers excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion, pitting corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. The low carbon weld deposit ensures superior weldability, a smooth spatter-free arc, excellent bead appearance, and a balanced austenitic-ferritic microstructure with ferrite content of approximately 40–45%. Vacuum-packed for optimum moisture protection and consistent welding performance.
