Tungsten Fortified Electrode, Superior Creep Strength, High Temperature Service up to 620°C
A basic coated low hydrogen tungsten-fortified electrode specially designed for welding advanced creep resistant steels operating at elevated temperatures up to +620°C. StarBlaze PRIME 9018-B92 provides improved creep strength, toughness, fatigue life, oxidation resistance, and corrosion resistance under prolonged high-temperature service. The weld metal contains chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, vanadium, niobium, and nitrogen additions to deliver exceptional mechanical properties for critical power generation applications. It offers excellent weldability, self-peeling slag, finely rippled weld beads, and radiographic quality weld deposits.
