Dissimilar Steel Welding, High Strength Weld Deposits, Universal Repair Electrode
A high-alloy rutile-basic coated stainless steel electrode with approximately 40% ferrite in the weld deposit, specially designed for dissimilar metal joining, repair welding, and difficult-to-weld steels. StarBlaze SS 312 provides exceptional crack resistance, superior weldability, soft fusion characteristics, spatter-free welding, self-releasing slag, smooth weld bead appearance, and easy striking and restriking. It is ideal for joining high-strength steels, tool steels, spring steels, cast steels, and dissimilar metal combinations, while also serving as an excellent buffer layer prior to hardfacing applications. Supplied in vacuum-packed packaging for enhanced moisture protection and welding consistency.
