Ultra Smooth Weld Beads, Low Hydrogen, Exceptional Toughness
A basic heavy-coated low hydrogen electrode designed for producing tough, crack-free welds in C-Mn, microalloyed, and low-alloy structural steels. Suitable for welding steels with carbon content up to 0.40%, StarBlaze 7018S delivers excellent positional welding characteristics, approximately 115% weld metal recovery, outstanding impact toughness down to -50°C, and superior reliability for critical fabrication applications. Ideal for structural welding, pressure vessels, heavy fabrication, and buffer layer applications.
