StarBlaze MIG 182
AWS A5.9: ER 182 | EN ISO 14343-A: W 18 8 Mn
StarBlaze MIG 182 is a premium NiCr alloy solid wire designed for MIG welding of highly heat- and corrosion-resistant nickel-chromium alloys. It deposits a Ni-20Cr3Mn2.5Nb weld metal with outstanding strength, ductility, and toughness, especially after post-weld heat treatment or long-term high-temperature exposure. Ideal for critical applications like cryogenic LNG storage, LPG processing, and dissimilar steel welding, this wire offers excellent performance in creep-resistance (up to 800°C), non-scaling properties (up to 1000°C), and cryogenic impact resistance (down to -196°C).
The wire undergoes ultrasonic and high-pressure jet cleaning after specialised chemical baths, followed by a proprietary anti-spatter silicone coating process for a clean, smooth arc and longer shelf life.

AWS A5.9: ER 410NiMo (1.4351) | EN 14343: S 13 4 StarBlaze SAW 410NiMo is a stainless steel Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) wire with a 12Cr/4Ni composition, tailored for soft martensitic steels like 1.4313/CA6NM and light-gauge 410, 410S, and 405 base metals. It delivers high ductility, excellent CVN toughness, and strong crack resistance. The filler metal has reduced chromium and increased nickel to eliminate ferrite and enhance mechanical performance. With extra low carbon content, it ensures better crack resistance and ductility than conventional 410 wires. Coated with a fine film of anti-spatter reagent, it guarantees smooth performance in critical applications.

AWS A5.9: ER 347 | EN 12072: 19 9 Nb StarBlaze SAW 347 is a niobium-stabilised stainless steel wire designed for Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) of austenitic stainless steels such as AISI 321 and 347. With a 19Cr/9Ni composition, this wire resists intergranular corrosion by minimising chromium carbide precipitation, thanks to niobium content (Nb ≥ 10×C). It is suitable for fabrication work in industries exposed to corrosive environments at service temperatures below 400°C, and is also used in cryogenic applications. A specialised anti-spatter reagent coating ensures smooth feeding and clean welds in high-deposition SAW processes.
