Superior Acid Resistance, High Molybdenum Content, Excellent Corrosion Protection
A rutile semi-basic stainless steel electrode specially designed for welding austenitic stainless steels containing 16–20% chromium, 10–14% nickel, and 3–4% molybdenum, including AISI 317 grades. StarBlaze PRIME 317 provides excellent resistance to corrosive environments containing sulphuric acid, sulphurous acid, and their salts. It delivers excellent weldability, a smooth stable arc, finely rippled weld beads, and self-releasing slag, making it ideal for corrosion-resistant fabrication in demanding chemical processing applications.
