STARBLAZE PRIME 6013 M
AWS A5.1: E 6013 | EN ISO 2560-A: E 38 0 R 12
Soft Arc, Self-Peeling Slag, Radiographic Quality Welds
A rutile type medium coated electrode designed for welding large structures and process pipework in shipbuilding, construction, and structural engineering applications where precise fit-ups are difficult to achieve. StarBlaze PRIME 6013 M provides a stable soft arc, minimum spatter, finely rippled weld beads, and excellent slag detachability. The electrode formulation promotes a forceful arc to ensure sound fusion while remaining tolerant to variations in welding current, making it highly suitable for site welding conditions. Excellent arc striking and restriking characteristics combined with high impact toughness ensure reliable, radiographic quality welds.
